3 Ton coils of Galvanised sheet are decoiled and folded in 'L' or 'Square' sections ready to be used in the RAS Lockformer below. The sheet can also be beaded as it is de-coiled, for extra stiffening. This machine carries 3 x 3 ton coils of varying thickness upto 1mm.

Used for folding a longitudinal seam to join the 'L' or 'Square' sections of duct together. This is made using a series of shaped wheels that interlock the two sides of the duct and leave a seamless joint on the corner of the finished shape.

Used for fixing the slide on flanges to the ends of ducts. This revolutionary design means that the airflow is not exposed to leakage as seen with pop rivets, and the galvanising is not degraded as seen with spot welds.
This is used for cutting the shapes that are folded and rolled to produce the fittings (Bend, set and change shape sections). The machine is operated by a computer that downloads a cutting list from the CAM system in the contracts office.
