Text Box:      Abbey Sheetmetal has been trading as a sheet metal fabrication company since 1989 and has a turn over of £3 Million, with contracts of varying size. We specialize in the manufacture and installation of air-conditioning and ventilation ductwork together with purpose made stainless steel canopies from our factory and offices in Hailsham, East Sussex.     Abbey Sheetmetal prides itself on dealing with any size contract in a positive and professional manner, believing that being proactive will always assist with the smooth running of all contracts. Our design office utilizes a market leading CAD software system coupled with our own in house developed bolt-on design package to produce manufacturing detail drawings, these drawings are then transferred onto our CAM system for input onto the plasma cutting machine.     The rectangular section ductwork, spiral tube and fittings are manufactured at the companies Headquarters in Apex Park, we also boast a large storage facility at our satellite unit on The Martletts Industrial estate, this provides a combined manufacturing space of 9500 sq ft . As a spiral tube and fittings manufacturer we are able to service contracts very quickly and efficiently.     We employ 30 permanent staff at our H.Q made, up from our workshop, accounts, contracts and estimating departments. Our site labour is made up from permanent staff and a nucleus of long standing sub-contract fitting crew’s. Enabling us to move quickly on small contracts as well as servicing contracts that have a high labour requirement. All of our contracts staff and site labour have a current Skill Card.             Abbey Sheetmetal employ the skills of Citation Plc to handle all of our health and safety and company law requirements.
