Powder coated ductwork.

 

Abbey Sheetmetal will manufacture and supply a wide range of powder coated duct sections, as we manufacture our own spiral tube and fittings we have ultimate control over the manufacture process thus ensuring our clients a quality product.

 

Stainless steel ductwork.

All stainless steel ductwork is constructed from grade 304 sheet. Rectangular ductwork is constructed with lockform longitudinal seams with stainless steel slide-on-flange cross joints (Inc, stainless steel corners). Circular tube is spirally wound or for shorter lengths it can be rolled as a straight seam tube. All bends are constructed as “Lobster Back” type, as pressed stainless steel bends are not manufactured. Likewise all shoes are of “Curved Boot” or “Conical Saddle” type.

 

Treated ductwork for the swimming pool environment.

 

Ductwork is painted internally with chlorinated rubber paint, this can be either brush painted or wet sprayed. More recently we are trying to convert to polyester powder coating which is a cheaper and more durable alternative to wet spraying with chlorinated rubber.
